Dr. Guido Ostermann is a specialist in neurosurgery and an expert for the conservative, minimally invasive and surgical treatment of chronic pain of the neck lower back.He performs about 350 surgeries per year. He is a recognized expert in key-hole endoscopic procedures, catheter techniques as well as pain and pain-therapeutic interventions.Moreover Dr.Ostermann has huge experience in the field of motion-preserving therapy (disc replacement) of the cervical spine.
He is a consultant and reference surgeon for companies like Spine Art / Sanofi Aventis, OMT and Tessy. Before joining the ONZ in 2007 Dr. Ostermann worked as a specialist in neurosurgery at the University Clinic Bochum.
His training took place in the neurosurgical department of the Knappschafts-Hospital Recklinghausen, and the University Hospital in Bochum Langendreer.
Dr. Ostermann studied medicine from 1992 to 1998 at the Heinrich-Heine-University Dusseldorf. He received the title specialists for neurosurgery in 1998.
