Dr. Maximilian Timpte is a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery. He has been working at ONZ since 2002 and is an experienced specialist in the conservative and surgical treatment of diseases of the large joints. His main areas of practice include artificial joint replacement (endoprosthetics) of the shoulder, hip and knee joints, as well as minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee joints, which includes the treatment of complex tendon, ligament and cartilage injuries. His spectrum is complemented by corrective surgery for knee joint wear and joint deformities.

Dr. Timpte studied human medicine at the University of Essen. After obtaining his license to practice medicine in 1996, he began his medical career at the Surgical Clinic of the Marien-Hospital in Dortmund and continued it in 1998 at the Orthopedic Clinic of the St. Marien-Hospital in Hamm. In September 2002, Dr. Timpte finished his work there as a functional senior physician and moved to the orthopedic group practice in Datteln. In July 2003, he passed the examination to become a specialist in orthopedics and was licensed to practice as a panel doctor in the fall of 2003. Since April 2004, Dr. Timpte has been the third partner in the Datteln/Recklinghausen orthopedic group practice.

Since 2004, Dr. Timpte has been an attending physician at the Elisabeth Hospital in Recklinghausen South and co-owner of the Datteln Orthopedic Group Practice. In the summer of 2006, Dr. Timpte passed the extended specialist examination to become a new specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery.
